Croatia

Installed 13 Internet Access Centers in public schools in Osijek, Croatia in 2000.


Established an Internet Access Center in Dragalic, Croatia in 2000 to provide training for children and agricultural training for local farmers whose fields were recently cleared of land mines.

Partnered with the Vukovar Institute of Peace Reasearch and Education and the Euroregional Commission to install a Community Health Information Center in Vukovar in 2002.

The Republic of Croatia is a Balkan country that declared independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. War soon erupted and the ethnic tension between the Serbs and the Croats lasted for the next four years. Although many citizens fled the country, Croatia has demonstrated progress toward financial and political stability.
