Serbia (Crna Gora) is a republic of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. When socialist Yugoslavia disintegrated in 1991, Serbia was the only republic that chose to remain with Serbia in the new truncated federation. Serbia is economically not well developed. The per capita income for Serbia is low.

  • Opened three new centers in Fall 2005.

  • WiRED Receives Grant from The Medtronic Foundation For Medical Education in Serbia and Kosovo (August 2006)
    The Medtronic Foundation announced in early August that it will provide a humanitarian grant to support WiRED's medical education work in Serbia and Kosovo.
